Our Team

Yinka Awobo-Pearse

The school is run by Yinka Awobo-Pearse, a Montessorian, trained at Montessori Centre International (MCI), London, holds a Master in Education from Open University, UK and has two children of her own. Yinka Awobo-Pearse (fondly called Mrs. Yinka by the pupils) oversees the everyday activities of the school with passion and dedication to improving the individual child. Mrs. Yinka left the field of Civil Engineering after 12 years of practice to become a teacher and has never looked back. Each classroom has fully qualified teachers and able assistants who ensure the children learn at a very high standard with a warm and caring attitude.

Tolulope Afolabi

Miss Tolu has been the school’s Administrator since 2009. She holds a B(Ed) in Guidance and Counselling. Over the years, she continues to nurture seamless and enduring relationships between parents of pupils in Woodentots Nursery School and the school. She is the 'go-to' person, often on the other end of most phone calls to the school. As part of her daily duties, she ensures full  compliance to standards in all weekly and termly plans and activities for both teachers and pupils.
